SOURCE: Saab 9-3 2.0T Aero 2004 Left Passenger Window

We know the window regulator is good, including the motor and track. The fact that you hear a noise when depressing the driver side switch tells me that there is an open wire (ground side). It could be the the switch on drivers door or the wiring in that circuit. I would ride down an extremely rough stretch of road with my finger holding down the passenger window switch on the drivers side. If it inches down then your open will be a high open where the wire will only be barely seperated. If not the seperation will be a true open. It is usually fairly easy to swap a window switch, just to be sure the open is not in the switch. Hope this helps........Tennis123

SOURCE: How to change 2004 acura tl accelerator pedal sensor

Below are some pictures and instructions for you. I'm just hoping that you have done all the diagnostics to be sure this is your problem. Have found in a few cases that there was a relay problem with the thottle actuator circuit. There is also a throttle actuator relay and sensor. Not sure what your problem is exactly but just hate to see parts replaced that are not needed. In any case the APP sensor is very easy to replace. Hope this helps you...

2003 saab 95 aero p-code 1300

Here is what I could find on it:

P1300
Random Misfire Detected. Catalyst Damaging.

Chances are that the Saab Ignition cassette is failing. You can find them on ebay, I recommend a new one since it is a common failure. Best to put new plugs in it while you are at it.

Easy to change, you just need a T-30 Torx (4 small bolts)
and one electrical connector on top of the engine. Oh and a good spark plug wrench.

I have a 2004 Saab Aero 9-3 vert. Got a new battery over the winter and now the top does not work. Help?

The "top"? Convertible top? I would check the fuses first as it is always possible to blow a fuse when a battery is connected (or disconnected).

The convertible top of my 2004 saab aero stopped working, the message i received at first was that there was something in the trunk that was keeping the top from coming down. now when I push the top...

  1. How did you obtain the message about something is in the trunk? I take it the top will not even begin to move when you try to operate it.

Top lowering problem on 2004 Saab Aero Convertible

I have a 2004 Saab 9-3 Arc convertible that had the same problem. The spring on the hinge assembly for the package shelf latch assembly was broken. The part itself is over $300. If you have someone remove the spring, your top will work again. You'll just have to put up with the top shelf hanging down in your trunk about 1 foot, but you can still manually move it to place things inside like your luggage or golf clubs.

Saab 2004 9-3 Convertible

Had same problem, in the boot right hand side, behind the removable panel there is :
1 - a hydraulic reservoir which must be at correct level.
2 - a black box (stc) this controls the roof system,
switch ignition off then pull the 2 connectors off for 30sec then reconnect.
This worked and hope this resolves your problem
