Drop the exaust, pull the crossmember, unhook all lines and connectors, take out torque converter bolts, and bell housing bolts then it should come straight out

SOURCE: 4x4 doesnt work in 2000 s10 zr2

Try checking ATC fuse under the hood in the block. if not that, check the plug to see if the wires came loose

SOURCE: i have a 2000 chevy s10 zr2 4x4 and the four wheel

there is a vacuum actuator under the battery tray. it is the most common cause for this issue. also the cable that goes from that actuator to the differential stretches sometimes causing it to engage and not engage depending on how bad it is.

They will bolt up. You may want to get the wiring plugs off the 97 t case as they will be different from yours. Or use your old t case

sounds like the 4 wheel drive
switch in the transfer case is bad.

I have a 1990 blazer s10 automatic 4x4 engine 4.3 and when i put it in any gear all i hear is a winening noise and my rig won't move


ck trans fluid, it may be low, if it is low, top it off, .......if the level is OK, the trans is bad.

4x4 Automatic, manual transfer case. Need to know maximum flat towable speed.


I would think if transfer and trans. are in neutral it would not matter how fast you go with in reason.
