If you do not see any obvious leaks or puddles under the car, you may have a head gasket leak. A compression test will find this. Any good mechanic will be able to do this test.

Hi, you will need to take it to mitsubishi dealer and have them scan. But it sounds like o ring in 4 wheel drive has busted. Does it still go in and out of 2 and 4 wheel drive? If it does it is safe to drive with blinking...if not it may do alot of damage.

Since your check engine light is turn on, some fault code is stored in your PCM (computer), I suggest scanned the PCM to know exactly what fault code is there; with this code number we could send additional details and tips to solve it.
Keep us updated.

this warning light or any other stays on in the dash it is indicating
that the systems control module (or the system sensor in the case of
lights like low oil pressure, door open indicators etc.) has detected
a fault, it then disables the system (this applies to ABS,TCS, TCM,
SRS, TPMS and BCM faults and others) as long as the light is on. You
must now have the dealer hook up a special electronic diagnostic tool
and "scan" the system for the fault code that is stored for
