!999 well its too old for auto thingy so i would think either the switch is faulty or a problem with the wiring is some shape or form ,try disconnecting the multiplug off the back of the switch first and see what happens

SOURCE: no sidelights working

The 15 amp TAIL fuse is for the sidemarkers, the license plate, etc. There is a taillamp relay.
Both of these circuits are powered by the 50 amp AM1 fuse.

The fog lights are powered by the 15 amp FR FOG fuse.

The inst panel is powered by 3 fuses: 7.5 amp GAUGE, 15 amp DOME and 7.5 ECU-B.

Please check all of these, and if they are all good, please get back to me for more info.
Hope this helps.

SOURCE: reverse lights on my vauxhal corsa v reg are not working

Yes. You can get the MOT station to do the repair or you can try and solve the problem. Check your fuses, the earth connections, your wiring and the voltage at the bulb. It could also be a faulty switch. I hope some of that will help.

Change the side light on an aidi a4 1999

Sidelight may mean the turn signal on the side of the car (sidemarker) or the turn signal right next to the headlights.

To replace sidemarker, you need slide it toward the front of the car. You may need to use a little bit of force. Then, pry the bulb out of the fencer hole with your fingers.

For turn signal light next to the headlights, see if you can figure out how to do it from the You tube video:

Ive been told that my sidelights are on in daytime even though the light switch is off

As long as they aren't on with the key removed, don't worry about it. Vauxhall have been doing this on their cars for a while now, because the Americans do it to "Save Lives on the Road". Although there has never been any proof that it works.

1997 passat sidelight fault

The problem is likely in the headlight switch--either a failing contact or perhaps an issue with the connector at the switch. see wiring diagram below.

Signal lights dont work and want to know where the fog light switch is at

With the switch in sidelight or dip

position, pull the switch to its first

position to turn on the front fog lights.

Pushing the switch in or turning it to OFF
or AUTO will turn off the front fog lights (this is for the front)

With the switch in any position except

OFF or AUTO, pull the switch to its

second position to turn on the rear fog

lights. This will also turn on the front fog

lights unless main beam is selected.

Pushing the switch in or turning it to OFF
or AUTO will turn off the rear fog lights (this is for the rear)

Reverse lights on my vauxhal corsa v reg are not working

It`s the reverse light switch under the bonnet had to replace it on my 16v t reg corsa costs about 8-£10 and comes off easily because it`s just a bolt with electricals leading to the back lighting. This happens on every Corsa. Let me guess Your Heater control lights and fan swich lights have gone too on the interior. Any problem corsa related, been there done it.
