If the back seat of any vehicle stops working try changing your partner ?? boy am i witty tonight ,honest not a clue here as never see this vehicle much here in europe so iam assuming that its electricaly adjusted somehow and if so then i would advise you ask a local garage who would have seen more of these vehicles than me ,now ask me about a citreon or a renault ?

You might have cut a wire or it could have broken or disconnected. Try tracing the wiring where you hooked up the trailer you may find one broken or disconnected.
