CAN/OBD-code reader will not read my 2004 chevy tahoe why not ?

You can check to see if you blew the cigarette lighter fuse by checking in the fuse box under the hood on the driver side. The fuse will be in the bottom right hand corner of the fuse box towards the windshield. If it lights up when test, the fuse is ok. What I found out on my '04 Tahoe was that in '03 GMC started making the CAN (Controller Area Network) which will not be compatible with plain OBD 2 Scanners & seem as though something is either wrong with the machine or car connector port. Believe me, I've taken my Tahoe to several auto parts store & even a few garages to be disappointed & not have my diagnosis done. Be sure that the OBD 2 Scanner you have, says "CAN" on it, or that it is "CAN" compatible & this will solve your issue.

Hi, I'm Terry of Terry's Auto A/C. New customer came in with a '99 Park Avenue, 3.8 L, vin# 1G4CW 52K3X 46020 90 with 101K miles & has passenger temp control. Problem is intermittent A/C...

You need a Tech2 not a Tech1. Every GM dealer has one, but a lot of other shops do also, just call around to the larger shops or a AC Delco shop.

Buick Le Sabre 1999....the ''Air Bag Readiness Light'' stays on. How do can I service the air bag system to find the problem & how to fix it?

well really the only wsay you can figure out why the air bag light is on,is to go to the dealer so they can hook up the scanner and see what code it has in it,there could be a bunch of different things wrong with but the code will point you in the right direction,,,,,,but only the dealer scanner will read air bag codes, the cheaper scanners like auto zones actron, and even the cheaper snap-on and mac do not read it either,so your kinda stuck going to the dealer to find out, if your not familiar with air bags let them work on it,as you could accidently deploy the air bags when your working with the system,,they are sensitive and i would not want to see you get injured

Chrysler trouble code U110C on 2005 chrysler town

encrypted software ,dealer only----yes i know you are showing a reading but it doesnt mean anything or if it does it shows a different code .so your snap on or mac tools scanner is a waste of time and money.Nearly all new motors from 2005 are using encrypted software to stop general mechanics like me from working

I want to connect my cam to the computer with out driver its type is discovery

In most cases, you can find that your discovery camer does not fit in any of the sockets located in your car.

If you can find such a socket in your car for a camera, please feel free to update this question with your findings!

Now, if you mean that you got this camera with your land rover Discovery vehicle, then connecting the camera to your computer should be as easy as pluging in your USB cable to the computer and running any photo editing program, then using the "import" functionality of your program of choice. If you have a Mac, it is even easier becasue the Mac will, more often than not, recognize the camera and open iPhoto for you, without the need for applying any drivers.

Hope this helps!
