Car appears to be misfiring, starts fine but initially sluggish on hills then on the flat engine makes popping noises
Try a throttle body cleaning.
check your spark plugs by removing the cables and checking if the engine sound gets worse, if for one of them there's no difference, this one would be faulty

1. This could be because the fan motor is not workin. Check the fuse and check to see if you are getting power to the fan motor. If these checks are ok, then I would suspect the fan motor.
2. This will most likely be the drive belt that runs the alternator that either needs adjusting or replacing.
3. You will need to check your ignition timing.

You need to Replace the Catalytic Converter. That is what you are Smelling. It has Clogged up and will also Cause the Light on the Dash Problem. Please Rate My Response! Thanks!

looks like electric problem ,there is a switch for the turbo whitch is keeping the air pumped in to the inlety manifold if that is broken and the turbo is ok this is what happens ,the light is bulb related problem is all your lights working ? brake ,direction,head etc ?

No good news on this one I think
Your whining sound problem is the Layshaft bearings in the gearbox are badly worn. It also seems that the baulk rings are damaged on 5th gear.
