Question about 2005 Ford Taurus
Hello! I hit a curb accidentally head on, no real damage to wheel or car, thankfully. However, ever since this incident I hear a rubbing noise or creeking from the dash, sounds like 2 pieces of Styrofoam rubbing together. Any ideas?
No ideas at all
You may never solve that
But you know it wasn't there before
the curb issue.

I had the same thing happen this weekend.Ij ust talked to my service man and he said if all the fuses are good it might be the switch on the dash.

Today and over the weekend .I too had the same problem. Took it to the dealer and they tested everything and could not find the problem. Did vac test on the lines, Test drove it with code tester to see if there was any problems . Checked the hubs... They replaced the IWE solenold. Just hope that is the fix and it didn;t damage anything else... Thanks for the above info!
