Question about 1997 Mitsubishi Mirage

Open Question

I have a 1997 mitsubishi mirage the tail lights and the plate lights dont work, all other lights work fine,

Already replaced the bulbs and got a new pigtail for the the rear tail light brake works fine with it but no tail lights or platelights still...dash lights work, currents srs and engine light are on but more then likely doesnt have anything to do with the lights. not sure if theres a seprate fuse for the lights or not any help would be really appreciated.

check fuses firs, then check the bulbs . If they are all fine check the brake light switch at the top of the brake pedal in the driver's footwell

Why aren't my break/tail lights working on my 1995 Mitsubishi mirage? No fuses or bulbs are blown.

Well the brake-turn signal and tail lights are on two different circuits, but share a common ground.
If the ground is good, and the parking and turn signals work in the front, it could be a wiring problem.

No dash board or tail lights

When the dash light go out it is a standard indicator on all cars that the taillights are out. When a turn signal blinks too fast it means there is a burnt out bulb or bad ground on a bulb. In this case you probably just have a blown tail light fuse. Check your fuse box and replace the fuse.

I don't have any tail lights brake lights, and turn signals. i dont know what fuse or relay to check or replace, because I dont have a owners manual to cross reference. Oh my vehicle is a 1997 ford...

CHECK ALL LIGHT BULBS IN THE BACK. PROBABLY HAVE A FEW BAD BULBS THAT ARE BURNT OUT COMPLETELY. CHECK LICENSE PLATE LIGHTS ALSO. CHECK FUSES TOO TO MAKE SURE THE TAIL LIGHT FUSE IS GOOD.

Reverse lights on 97 mitsubishi mirage not working & bulbs ok, is it a sensor & if so are they expensive ?

might even just be the wire from the reverse indicator switch.
Don't know anything about mitsubishi's , but lots of cars have the reverse gear indicator switch threaded right into the side of the transmission
