Where is the fuel pump safata switch cut off on a 1995 lexus 300 es

There is not one. Ford is the only manufacturer that uses one.

If you do not have fuel pressure check for power and ground at the fuel pump. If everything checks out the pump is bad. If you are missing power check fuses, relays, and wiring, If you have no ground then you will need to inspect the wiring for an open circuit.

Where is, or does a 2004 dodge neon srt4 have a fuel cut off switch ? And if so where would it be located. Can any one help me out , please.

Ford is the only manufacturers that uses a resettable fuel cut off inertia switch. If you do. to have fuel pressure than it's a pump, relay, fuse, computer issue.

Make sure there is power to the pump, make sure the ground is good, ohm check the pump, it should be less than 5 ohms. Try tapping the tank with a rubber mallet while somebody cranks the engine (if you have good power and ground for the pump). If it starts replace the pump.

I have a 1994 1500 chevy truck i have replaced the fuel pump and the new one went out 6 weeks later what could cause this

1st check all the fuses in the vehicle. Next, check your power to the pump and the ground wire from the pump. I have discovered a lot of issues with the ground wire not making contact. A lot of people state that they checked and have power. You also need a path to ground. Also, check the fuel pump relay. You can take another relay, like from the air conditioning, and plug it into the fuel pump relay spot. This will tell you if the relay is junk.

Fuel pump cuts in but car wont start

If you have to force the fuel pump on by the relay who is controling ignition? The fuel pump will come on thru the main relay which is next to the fuel pump relay this controls ignition,go back to the begining,on one of the coil leave a 1/4 between the sparkplugwire and the coil crank the engine there should be spark is there is no spark correct for spark and fuel will return when the ECM see a valid RPM signal.so test for spark first. The Main relay is what needs to be look at

1990 Deville, new fuel pump, new ICM, 40 psi on fuel rail, got spark, start the car and it runs fine for short time then dies. I have found out that something kills power to the injectors. Shut the hood,...

Replace the fuel Pump relay in the Power distribution box under the hood. Also, start checking the wiring harness back to the fuel pump for shorts. Most likely this is the relay cutting out every time it is pumped or jiggled but it is possible, however slight, that the problem is a short.

Do you have a good ground on the pump? There is an switch for cutting off the fuel pump somewhere under the dash that may need to be reset. It is an emergency shutoff.

2004 cavalier 2.2 won't start not getting any gas..just filled up tank drove 3miles no problems. parked it. won't start. is there a fuel cutoff switch somewhere?

There is no fuel cut off switch.

You'll need to check for power to the fuel pump. There are two connectors on the passanger side to the right of the fuel tank. One of those is the connector for the fuel pump module. There will be a large gray wire in that connector. That is power to the pump. there will be a larger black wire also. That is the pump ground.

If there is power and the ground is good try smacking the bottom of the tank while somebody cranks the engine over (vehicle in park foot on brake and vehicle properly supported if jacked up). If it starts the pump will need to be replaced.

My 1997 k1500 5.0 keeps blowing the fuse for the fuel pump, the pump was put in about 6 months . i track a grey wire from the fuel pump RELAY through the back but don't know to what it gose to,i cut the...

that gray wire is the fuel pump power supply . You cut the wire were an positive tested it ??? An what does that mean . you positive tested it ? Wish you people would learn to talk like a mechanic would ! If you cut the wire near the relay an checked with a ohm meter or a test light with B+ volt , of couse it going to show ground ! It's going through the fuel pump windings to ground on the other side . What fuse keeps blowing ?ECM B - 20 amp ? This powers the fuel pump as well . May not even be the fuel pump circuit blowing the fuse . You need to find everything that fuse powers and isolate the different circuits . Videos on youtube showing how to find a short .
