SOURCE: Location of oil filter on Nissan Altima 2005

The oil filter is located behind the right (passenger) inner fender cover. It is right next to the crankshaft pulley at the bottom of the front of the engine facing toward the right front wheel. I do not have a picture at this time.

Hope this is helpful!

SOURCE: Nissan Altima 2000 - Engine oil leaking problem.

replace the front oil seal. first i would clean the engine with purple power (degrease etc.) then look at the engine and make sure the leak is not coming from above like possibly the valve cover gasket or from the oil sending unit. try to tighten the bolts on the valve cover and even the oil pan. you never know, you may get lucky. i don't know where you are but front seals are cheap but the labor on the job is what costs you.

I cant find the oil pump on a 2006 Nissan Altima

On both the four cylinder and six cylinder engines the oil pump runs off the crank shaft. The front cover and timing chain needs to removed in order to replace or repair the oil pump. It is not a very common repair. Is there a reason you are looking for it?

It has a filter in the gas tank like a strainer on the fuel pump.It should be serviced every 110,000 miles did you know it also has no transmission filter either, that you only drain and replace oil cant take the pan off its right above frame rail.

Broken bolt for park brake cable on 1995 nissan altima?

Yes you could do that however it would probably be easier to drill them out and use new bolts. Might be a pain in the A trying to drill a self tapper into a car frame while lying on the ground.

Oil filter

There is not a way to remove a oil filter on you car without it dripping because your filter is sideways so the best thing you can do is buy a can of parts cleaner from your local parts store and clean it off when you are finished . Place a peice of cardboard under you car to catch any oil that falls
