Question about 2000 Chevrolet Malibu

1 Answer

Computer I have a 2000 Chevy Malibu. Everything was working fine in the morning. Then when I went to get into in the afternoon. I had NO power windows, NONE of my gauges on the dashboard worked (gas gauge, temperature gauge, etc) The Blowers for the heat and air didn't work. The defrosters didn't work. The light on the dash telling me what gear I'm in didn't work. What is the problem.

Well you've lost power to one or two major circuits. Could be a problem with the key switch or a major fuse in the engine compartment.
I would check the fuses for power and find out which ones are dead then go from there.

The problem could be in the ignition switch itself.

Replaced the fan resistor on 2000 chevy malibu this summer. Worked fine but recently the blower won't work on any speed.

this could be a bad blower or the switch to blower, check at blower fan for power if no power it is most likely the switch.if there is power on all speeds then the blower is bad. check all fuses to verify.
