Question about Cars & Trucks
Dear Sir; We Have One Hyundai Santafe (Model: 2007, Chassis No: KMHSG81D77U156782), This has already running 252,415 KM. Now it is having some problem. After Starting the Car when We change from P (Parking) to R (Reverse) or From N (Nuteral) to D (Drive) it is not running (not changing to the Gear Mode). Then If We Rise the Accelator more then it is changing to the Gear Mode. Could You Please tell me what was the Reason and How much an average charge for solving the Issue Thanks and Regards Kumar

There might be problem with circuit which is loose any how when you rise accelerator it vibrate and then it get touch the loosing point and proceed better ask mechanic to open and fix the issue by adding proper connector

Research this: "NHTSA Number 10025856". Print out your findings and take it to the dealership. Speak to the Service Manager directly. Ask for 2 1/5 minutes of his time, and tell him what is going on. Tell you have researched and have found the probability, and give him a copy of your print out.

ALWAYS engage the Parking Brake BEFORE putting car into "Park". When you want to get out of "Park", put your foot on the brake pedal, move gear shifter into desired gear, THEN take down Parking Brake. If you get stuck (gear shifter doesn't move), then try the "rocking" method (recruit 1 or 2 folks to push your car from behind while you try to move gear shifter into desired gear). Good luck!

P0734 - 4th gear incorrect ratio. P1529 Malfunction Indicator Lamp Request. Problem is in the transmission.
Take/Tow your vehicle to an authorized Hyundai dealership and pay the diagnostic fee... they will tell you exactly what the problem is and the cost of parts/labor to fix it... at least this way you'll know what the problem is and what's required to fix it.

CHANGING YOUR OWN OIL NOT HARD.YOU NEED 9 QUARTS OF OIL LOOK INSIDE GLOVECOMPARTMENT FOR OWNERS MANUAL TO SEE WHAT TYPE OF ENGINE OIL YOU NEED TO USE AND HOW MANY QUARTS.IF YOU DONT CHECK READ MANUAL TO SEE WHAT OIL TYPE AND QUARTS YOU NEED. IF YOU BLOW OR DAMAGE THE ENGINE WARRANTY WILL NOT COVER THE ENGINE.FIRST OF ALL TO CHANGE ENGINE OIL YOU CRANK VECHICLE UP LET IDLE FEW MINUTES TO THIN OUT OIL THEN YOU TURN OFF ENGINE. YOU WILL NEED TO GO TO THE DEALERSHIP FOR THE OIL FILTER AND FILTER HOUSING O RINGS. ONCE YOU GET NEW OIL FILTER AND O - RINGS INSTALL THEM IN THE OIL FILTER HOUSING.LOCATED OIL FILLER CAP ON VALVE COVER UNDER THE HOOD.REMOVE OIL FILLER CAP.POUR OIL IN ENGINE USING A FUNNEL.ENGINE HOLDS ABOUT 8.5 TO 9.0 QUARTS OIL.
