The factory injectors will be calibrated for you engine and the settings for the injector will be recognized by the cpu unit. While after market may be cheaper the cpu may not recognize the settings and you may have problems. I appreciate that genuine injectors are expensive but they may be cheaper in the long run

Hi, I have a problem with my renault megane 1.5dci 2005, it shows check injection light and every time I cold start it fires up after second or third try. I took it to bosch service to get the light reset...

hard starting in cold weather for a diesel is an indication of failed glo-plugs. IF it start ok now then the light was telling you of the glo-plug problem. I would only change injectors as a very last resort as they are very expensive and may not be the fault any way as the easy start indicates no fault there.

My 2003 Renault Megane Scenic 1.9dci expression won't start

The funny sound you mentioned must be identified, could it be the starter trying badly to turn. Here the fault of your battery drain is that the glow plugs take a lot of current and it must NOT come ON when the starter motor runs. Hence the fault could be your GLOW plug relay unit with the auto cut off timer that is faulty. If you keep draining the battery to a lower threshold level , there is every possiblity that the battery life will be lowered . I hope the present battery rating is the recommended Amp/hr rating to give the extra run for the morning start. Next area of suspicion is the starter motor itself , it could have a bad commutator or a bush. It will be good to have a clean up and service. Finally check for excessive drain on your battery with a current check in series for the drain current when the switch if off. If the current exceeds the limit disconnect each circuit to confirm. hope this advice helps. good day

Check the EGR valve and pipes. Ensure that its very clean internally and the the ports are clear of carbon crude. You can use carb choke spray cleaner, cloth, old toothbrush and screw driver to get this device clean

Renault Megane 1.9 diesel has a message on the dash board saying injection fault. Is it safe to continue to drive the car?

Only if you don't mind the injector coming apart and damaging the engine. it could cost you a couple thousand if it fails while you are driving it. This light is your first and last warning before you may have catastrophic engine failure or engine fire. Up to you what you should do but would say you should have it checked by a mechanic, a simple injector pressure test could save your car.
