Im thinking your going to be ok as far as warranty repair,if your dealers service dept is insensitive, call Saturn assist @ 1.800.553.6000 On to the ignition switch ....separate colum halves with #2 screwdriver> access ignition housing and look for trip slot on top side of cylinder>use pocket size screwdriver to trip button in slot while in ACC position and pull out...good luck

IMPORTANT: Actuator blade within ignition module housing must be in ACC position to install lock cylinder assembly. If rotated, replace it to ACC position, using needle nose pliers.

Your 6 cylinder 3.0 L has two ignition control module's, the module are part of the ignition coil assembly, there's a right and left bank, hope this was very helpful.

go to www.youtube.com and search for "saturn" "lock cylinder" "ignition" I know there is at least one video showing someone removing the lock cylinder. you can watch it and do the same if you wish.
