Question about 2004 Chrysler PT Cruiser
My 04 cruiser was over heating at times. As I started to pull into my drive it started to over heat. I turned it off and a few hours later went to go to the store, and it wouldnt stay on. it would turn over, fire up, and immediately die. After a few days of trying to figure the problem out, it stopped firing altogether. i get all power, dash lights, blinkers, windows, locks, etc. it just clicks and wont fire up. Where do i start?

I had a similar problem with my 2001 Dodge Neon. Car ran perfect one day, the next morning it wouldn't turn over, nor make any sound whatsoever.
Turned out the ECM died and had it replaced with a re-manufactured unit purchased online...best pricing. Between shipping & handling, tax and base price of $295 (purchased in Florida & live in Florida)
Now the car has trouble starting...have to start turnover about 3X's before it finally starts....once it starts, it runs better than ever before.....though back to the mechanic in the next few days. Electrical problems are the worst to deal with for anyone. Even the "Pros" have difficulty.
Hope this helps anyone.

now sometimes this happens to let you know that one of the doors are open
check your doors
this is the only thing i can think of altho you have most likely checked it lol
also lock the car with the key
you don't want it to get stolen

SOURCE: fog lights staying on
1st most newer car cars have a timer delay that helps light the area you are in for a couple of seconds. You may have had the knob turned all the way up on the turn signal switch. The same thing will happened if this switch is turned all the way up, the interrior light will stay on. Turn the lights on with the switch and see if the fog lights come on, do this without the car running.Trun the lights off,see if the fog lights stay on then go out after a while.if so you have a delay on the fog lights or relay. You may need to replace the relay only. Part $ 15 trace fog light wiring to relay usually under hood away from water sources.......runjoe
