Question about 2002 Kia Spectra
We changed the fuel filter. It helped with the smell and some with speed. We then changed the Spark plugs and wires. Now the car shook and jerked trying to go up hill. Worse now than before plugs/wires.........
Check the EGR Valve, if the problem is only
load related -- meaning mostly under high vacuum
load & up hills

you need to check your fuel pressure at the rail with a gauge. But to me it sounds like the spark plug boots . If they crack or split it will cause symptoms just like yours, mostly shaking while under load. Since you already changed the plugs change the boots or wires too.
