Your problem is likely in the driver's side combination switch, if the passenger's window does not work from either of the side. That is given that wires and motor inside the door are fine. Start with fuses check, as usual routine.

If more than one window is not working, it could be the controller in the door, or lack of power to that side of the van.

Passenger window not working

In order to work on it yourself, you would need
a Ford Factory Wiring Book from Helm.Com
Also the ability to use a volt meter & read wiring
schematics.
If you ask-- could a relay or something tie it all together
& be a simple fix,don't know
We are on the site like you & have no info &
no ties to the site, just a chat room

Power windon fuse

There are really 2 fuses that control your power windows and they are located in the power distribution box inside your engine compartment. If all your windows aren't working you may have other problems though. In the number 6 position in the box (see picture below) is a 30 amp fuse that fuse controls your drivers side window. The fuse in the number 10 position (30 amp) controls the passenger and vent windows but also is the fuse for the radio. I hope this helps a little anyway and good luckclifford224_92.jpg

Passenger side power window will only work sometimes

Sounds like a faulty switch. I had a problem like this once and if you are handy enough, you can swap out the driver side switch with the passenger to see if the problem replicates on the other window. If they are not the same, then you may try taking the switch out and cleaning the contacts on the connecter.

Hope this helps!

I would check the pin that the door locks onto when it is shut. It may be loose or worn or needs some kind of adjustment.
