No one can guess for you
You need the car road tested at a shop
You provided nothing
No year,make,engine & we can't even guess
without lots of info on what it does & doesn't do
& what test result are.
If it is 15 years old then the Exhaust Converter may
be broken up & blocking exhaust
A clogged gas filter today with plastic fuel tanks would be
rare, but if that has been on for 10 years, that could be any
issue.

PROBLEM: LACKING POWER, AND EXPERIENCING SLUGGISH ACCELERATION

Guessing here, might help to know the make/model/year/engine.
Sounds like you're running in "limp mode" because one of your sensors is either bad or simply not hooked up. Perhaps TPS (throttle position sensor) or MAF (Mass AirFlow)

You have also tried replacing the Mass air flow sensor. How does it run with it unplugged? You can also get all your symptoms and the MAF code from a plugged catalytic converter.

Hard to start

Turning the ignition key's on and off is leading me to a dirty fuel filter or a bad fuel pump sending unit. Pumping the accelerator peddle does nothing but keep your figure since the engine is fuel injected. Check your fuel pressure at the shredder valve, you should have 60PSI to 65PSI when the key's are at the run position and should drop around 5PSI when the engine is running. There is also a valve at the fuel pump to energize the fuel line and when that goes bad you lose you prim fuel pressure to start the engine. Good luck and keep me posted, be glad to help.
