Question about 2002 Mercury Cougar
Code 1237 is for a problem with the fuel pump circuit.
There is a fuel pump driver module in the back of the car that handles voltage going to the pump.
The problem could be the computer, the module, the wiring to the pump, or the pump itself. Each component would need to be checked.
