SOURCE: 2003 Trailblazer Air Conditioner fan runs but no air out vents

Mine does the exact same thing. If I turn it off for a few minutes it will work again for about 15 minutes. Doesn't matter which area I select the air to come out. The fan blows hard but very little air comes out.

SOURCE: replace low beam headlight on 2003 chevy trailblazer

I just replaced the low-beam bulb on my 2003 Chevy Trailblazer. The grill just needs to be loosed slightly. Then, raise two L shaped brackets, one on each side. For the inside one, I needed to use a flathead screwdriver to get to it. The light assembly can then be pulled out. Remove the rubber cover and rotate the bulb one quarter turn left to release it. Pull out the bulb, replace with a new one ($11.50) from Advance Auto Parts, and reverse the process. Once I figured it out, took about 10 minutes total.

SOURCE: Bad Clutch Fan? Rear ac/heat don't work front only works on 4

The fan clutch isnt engaged at all times, therefore it may be normal to hold it in place (not recommended). On these trailblazer's 4.2L engine the fan clutch is electronically controlled. Usually when this vehicle's fan clutch malfunctions, there is a random ticking noise while idling or at a stop, also the "service engine soon" may turn on. As for the the fan speed problem, this may be a faulty blower resistor malf (typical) or climate control unit may be faulty. Hopefully this helps!!

2003 chevy trailblazer cooling temp running 230

Smart man using a scanner for the actual temp. Assuming you're not losing coolant....2 things I'd look at here, 1st is you may have air in the system, make sure to purge all the air. 2nd is your fan clutch, I've replaced a few fan clutches in my own Trailblazer. Have had them bad right out of the box brand new. Have had bad brand new fan clutches on 2 of my last Trailblazers. You should hear it engaging especially in stop and go traffic.

2005 chevy trailblazer ac won't work but defrost does while driving only

Hi. There happens to be a common problem with these trailblazers inside the ducting box located under the dashboard. The mode actuator door motor stops working due to a faulty motor itself and the default position is defrost only. As far as the Air Conditioning not working, there maybe another problem to diagnose there. Could be low refrigerant, or electrical problems to the compressor, or faulty fan clutch(another very common problem with these trucks). Type in mode actuator door and 2005 trailblazer in your search engine online i.e. Google or Yahoo and you will find many posts about this problem. I think there may even be a Youtube video about replacing it. Let me know you need more help. Thanks.

Chevy trailblazer engine gets too hot only when i blow the air conditioner

always check coolant level first, then if ok. check fan for a/c it should come on and run anytime the a/c is on. so turn a/c on and see if fan kicks on right away if not check relay.
hope this helped.

I have a 2004 chevy trailblazer and the air conditioner only works on low and high. Also only works on floor and defrost.....what is wrong?

Seems like you have two issues. The first one, I would check the fan resistor under the passenger's side dash board. Look under the dash near the fan housing you will find a electrical connector, pull that out while having the fan on. If the fan stops then you know you're in the right place. Call the dealer for another resistor.
Second issue, you may have a problem with the blend door actuator, if you're not a mechanic I would take the car to someone you trust.Let me know.

I have two problems with my 2005 chevy trailblazer. 1st the fuel gauge stopped working. 2nd the fan on the air conditioner smelled like burnt rubber then level 4 stopped working now the fan won't blow at...

WELL WE WILL START WITH YOUR FUEL GAUGE. WHEN IT QUIT WHERE IS THE HAND AT, IF ITS SHOWING OVER FULL THAT MEANS THERES A GROUND WIRE OFF SOMEWHERE. FRIST CHECK THE TOP OF THE TANK YOU WILL SEE ALL THE WIRES THERE, FIND THE ONE THATS PLUGED INTO THE SENDING UNIT, T SHOULD BE THE ONLY ONE THE REST ARE ALL RAPED UP. NOW FOR TH FAN, REPLACE IT, WHEN THEY DO THAT IT MEANS THE BUSHINGS ARE GOING. I HOPE THIS HELPS YOU OUT. PS THATS NOT GOOD WHAT THE DEALERS ARE DOING, BUT WHAT CAN YOU DO. JIMBO
