Heater will not blow hot in my Ford Explorer. It has plenty of coolant. Any easy fixes?

If the heater hoses are hot, odds are the blend door that controls air temp is stuck or otherwise not moving. There are three blend doors under the dash.
You may need a shop manual to get the instructions on how to test them.

2004 ford explorer heat on all the time

the problem with these and many other Ford truck products is the blend door gets stuck or the actuator craps out. Unfortunately, you do have to take the dash apart in order to replace either. If you can get to the blend door and see if it will move by hand (after disconnecting it from the actuator), this will tell you if the problem is a jammed blend door or a broken actuator.

My 2006 ford explorer 4.6 v8 has a red warning light for high tempature come on and the tempature gauge shows that car is running hot.when this happens the a/c then blows hot air.if I turn off the a/c then...

Check for a broken belt. If your water pump is not turning, it will cause the engine to get hot and the radiator wont steam. If a belt is broken it would also explain the no A/C condition.

Changed rear disk pads on 04 explorer and not passenger side rear wheel is smoking driver side is fine? what should I be looking for?

I would lean towards the caliper being frozen up on that side. When its hot take the wheel off and see if the rotor is really hot (CAUTION IT MIGHT BE EXTREMELY HOT) If it is, time to change the caliper.
