Question about 2005 Ford Taurus SE
I had spark plug and wire replaced and car ran fine for one day. Took it and had coil replaced. Car ran fine for one night then engine light came on again. Same codes showed up again and car is running sluggish after starting. Had the codes cleared and light came on again. What else could be wrong?
Well code 306 is for a miss on cylinder six and code 316 is for a miss detected on startup, which you probably already know.
Since I assume you have replaced the ignition parts for that cylinder,
the next component to check is the injector. You may want to check fuel pressure too.

P0305 is misfire in cylinder #5.
P0306 is misfire in cylinder#6.
P0316 is misfire on start up.
Have the plugs on those 2 cylinders, and the 2 fuel injectors checked, also check for spark from the coil on those 2 plug wires.
