I have a 100 hp Johnson outbound, its firing on the left bank but not the right. it will roll over but not start. any suggestions. thanks

The power pack on the right side is probably faulty or not getting power or timing from the engine.

Sounds like the computer is not working right or something is not plugged in, recheck all connection.

SOURCE: lean left bank mulitple miss fires

If you are lean on the left side that rules out a spark issue so you either have a injector cutting out or a vacuum leak on that side.

Right Bank A, Left Bank B A1 B1 A4 B4 B2 A3 B3 A2
The numbering is not "conventional" but you should be able to prove the sequence by tracing the wires from the distributor cap.

While Standing in Front of the Vehicle, the Engine is Transverse, Left to Right, Nearest the Firewall, The No. 1, Cylinder on the 3.1L is closet to the Firewall, on the Left, followed by Cylinder No. 3, then Cylinder No. 5.
Then Left to Right, the Front Cylinder Bank, nearest the Bumper starts with Cylinder No. 2 on the left, Cylinder No. 4 is Center Front, and finally, Cylinder 6 is Front Right.

Hello just put motor in 1981 f-100 rolls over but will not crank any suggestions


roll over and crank are the same thing. If its not firing (starting) check for fuel and spark. Good luck :)
