If the wires are loose just tighten them. First you need to take the battery ground off the battery so you don't short out your wrench.

98 mustang trouble code p1443

This is a code for the evaporative system which includes a black plastic container in the front of the engine comopartment that has hoses going to the tank and the throtle body. When it isn't running the fumes from the tank accumulate in this charcoal filled container and when the engine starts, they are burned. Something is wrong with the vacuum or electric solonoid on the top of this container.

I just bought a 98 Mustang v6 3.8 The battery light stays on with out key in igmition and if I step on brake pedal the lights come on as if I have the key in the ignition. Im a bit confused as to why its...

I've seen this happen with a faulty remote starter before. One of the relays shorted out and sent power through the brake wire to the ignition wire.

Mine is doing the same thing.. Long crank time when cold mainly to start.. Seem fine warm for a while then it starts having trouble warm as well. Almost ran my battery down starting it today.
