2003 honda element - it lost power while driving about 60 mph and then turned to come home.. going about 15 mph and lost power and started jerking - it did not die and the electrical was working - battery...


You should start with the basics, are you getting fuel and air to the engine and spark at the plugs? Is the battery being charged? When did you last change the fuel filter? Does the car still start and run?

Check fuel pressure when truck acts up and check for spark to rule out bad ignition module or coil.

The RPM of Nissan Altima stays high when drive over 65 MPH.


No....the rpms differ from engine to engine and from manufacturer to manufacturer. RPM's are always higher at higher speeds.

First thing I would do is replace the fuel filter. Could be clogging

Normally this kind of a problem is a fuel block...there so many other ways to block...other than the filter
