Hi if the gear is stuck on gear they are two option there. First one maybe your clutch kit give up. Or something wrong with your gearbox. If the car is not idling try to take that gear of first normarly it should come off. If not remove your gear box to find out if the problem is the clutch or your gearbox. If you tow your car in neutral how come is stuck on one gear. Towing got no problems. That mean it wasnt in neutral it was in gear but the clutch is stuck and seem the gear is in neutral. You should have clutch problem before you think about gear box.

CHECK CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER.SOUND LIKE BRAKE FLUID LOW.IF BRAKE FLUID LOW LOOK FOR LEAKS AROUND CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER AND CHECK FOR LEAKS AROUND BRAKE LINES AND CHECK FOR LEAKS AROUND CLUTCH RELEASE CYLINDER HYDRALIC LINE FITTING. REASON PEDAL GOING TO FLOOR YOU HAVE FLUID LEAK WHICH WILL CAUSE AIR TO GET IN THE CLUTCH HYDRALIC SYSTEM. YOU HAVE TO LOCATE LEAK FIX AND BLEED THE CLUTCH HYDRALIC SYSTEM.

Is the lancer towable behind moterhome

No vehicle is really towable with all four wheels on the surface. It is best to have a front wheel dolly trailer that the front wheels set on strapped down to tow by. The axles are freely moving if the tires are all on the surface creating a harsh wear to the transmission. The transmission is a hydralic pump as you may know & if the axles are moving for a long distance some parts inside the transmission will be fluxuating as you travel. Many vehicle end up at a transmission shop where I am at with some sort of drivability problem since they have been towed for a long distance. Usually inside your owns manual they will have a section on towing. I would read that section if you have the manual

If hydralic, it sound like you have air in the hydralic line. You need to bleed it off at the slave cylinder (gearbox end of the line)

If cable type, then you may need to reset the ratchet on the clutch pedal.
