Question about 2005 GMC Yukon XL
Even w the keys in my pocket,I have walked by my Yukon and it sounds like a warzone inside!!! the rt frt bose spkr and now the left rear are almost continuously spewing out cracks, sizzles, loud pops and static even when the system is off and parked. My local dealer wouldn't even let me buy a wire diagram so I could trace potential problems.A few weeks ago I read about some sorta relay(alleged to be behind the glove box) inline w the amp(which one I don't know) that sometimes malfunctions.didnt find a relay but found a connecting block at first thinking it was to door spkers I unplugged one connector and sure did stop the noise in rt frt spkr. HOWEVER the pass.windows went dead and the dash warned me that I suddenly had NO air in my tires!!!ENOUGH...I NEED HELP! FIRST WHERE ARE ALL COMPONENTS OF A 2005 GMC YUKON BOSE AUDIO SYSTEM LOCATED AND HAVE THERE BEEN ANY OTHER SIMILAR STORIES AND OH, DID I MENTION "H E L P"

The wiper should not move regardless of battery change as the wiper switch should have isolated it.It seems to be the only ,as you say, strange thing and would be inclined to believe that that is the probable cause of your fault.Do like your testing method and hope you track the fault down.Good luck and happy new year.

You have to unplug the old radio. The radio isn't the part in the dash. That is just the control to the radio. The radio is actually under the dash above the accelerator pedal. It should have the power wires, speaker wires and antenna wire going to it.
