SOURCE: 2005 Ford Freestar rear air electrical

The blend door is stuck or not receiving the control knob information to change the temperature.

Your car uses an electronic blend door actuator. you will need to locate this devise under the dash. You may have to remove the dash to get to it. You will want to make sure that there is power coming in to the new switch and going out to the Blend Door Actuator. If you do not have power to the switch then find out why and fix the broken wire, if you have power to the motor but it won't move then replace the Blend Door Actuator (BDA).

Make sure the black wire to the BDA is grounded. The do the following:
Test the orange wire going to the BDA and the Yellow wire from the BDA to the switch for postive power. This will tell you if the BDA is getting power in from the car and out to the switch. Then make sure you get a power reading from the Red with White strip and the Red with Lite Green strip, this will tell you that the switch is sending the power back to the BDA to control the temp. If power is coming in to the BDA and not going out to the switch then the BDA is bad. If power is going to and from the switch back to the BDA then that also says the BDA is bad. If the ground is broken that will cause the BDA not to respond.

It is on the same button as the Trip Odometer. Cycle through until you see Tire Reset and hold the button down.

SOURCE: changed caliper on 2005 ford freestar and now brakes are spongie.

When bleading the brakes have someone there watching to make sure the master cylinder never runs out of brake fluid or all of your time spent bleading them will be waisted.

It is under recall for problems with the torque converter in the transmission. Take it to your local Ford dealer and they will replace the torque converter and transmission fluid at no cost to you.

Is there some sort of video I can follow online to due a tune up on my 2005 ford freestar? I don't want to pay someone 250 to 400 dollars for this. That is just ridiculous.

I don't mean to be hurtful, but how much should you pay?
How much do you get paid at work?
If someone works on your car for 4 hours at $60.00= $240. Now add the parts.
You don't make money or even a living, repairing cars. I owned a business. It costs more in operating expenses than you take in.

You will be working on your vehicle a long time, get frustrated due to lack of a space ,to get your hands into and find that todays vehicles are so high tech, that most people should not even open the hood.

I got code PO303 on my 2006 ford freestar i just want to know what i can expect it to cost to fix

A P0303 code is a cylinder #3 misfire code. Usally a tune up, of plugs and wires fixes the problem. Normal cost is about $5 dollars a spark plug, about $85 in spark plug wires and around $100 in labor. So around $200-250 for the tune up. Then you'll need them to clear the check engine light, which may cost a diagnostic fee. If you haven't done a tune up in a while that would be the place to start. The other problem it could be is a fuel injector or a cylinder compression problem but those are unlikely. Hope this helps.

Use a vacuum pump brake bleeder starting at the furthest point from the master cylinder. They cost abt $35. Be sure to keep master cylinder full... :)
