Pull a spark plug, ground it to the metal engine somewhere, keep it plugged into the spark plug wire. disconnect the other spark plug wires so it doesn't start. Turn the car over (try to start it) and see if the one spark plug fires. Do not touch it or hold it while trying this. They use about 30,000 volts. You just confirmed one of the 3 requirements for starting: fuel, compression and spark. If you smell fuel anywhere but the exhaust, don't try this as the spark from the spark plug can ignite fuel or fumes in the engine compartment. If your spark plug fired ok, check to make sure the timing belt did not break. Sometimes you can pry the plastic cover open a bit over the cam gears, or sometimes there is an inspection hole, or you can look into your oil fill hole to see if the cam is turning (as the timing belt turns the cams). I modify everything I have to make it more user friendly. Nothing is perfect but faith and even that can be improved.

Spark problem could be unrelated to timing belt change. Test ignition module (most parts stores will do this free), test coil.

Truck just died at stop sign a block from home and will not start

assuming the vehicle is a diesel because you say you drained the water separator ? What engine ? What fuel pressure does it have to the injectors ? Do the injectors fire ?
Ford 7 3 powerstroke crank no start due to low icp injection pressure...
Do you know how to trouble shoot diesel engines ? Your best bet take it to a qualified repair shop .

Nailer firing weak

Usually this is an air pressure problem. You can safely set your compressor anywhere between 90 -110 psi for nail guns.
Also check the adjuster near the nose of the gun. It's usually a little wheel that you turn to adjust nail firing depth.

search the VW forums for a proper firing order, they will have it listed in an easy to find spot i am sure...on account to it not starting, the firing order probably does not matter, i would check to see that you are actually having fuel injected into the cylinders, check that the injectors are firing by pulling them out of the intake manifold when you crank it to see if they are spraying fuel

99 Ram 1500 4x4 wont start, it will crank and it wants to turn over but doesn't. Thought it might be the fuel line frozen, heated up water and poured on fuel line in engine compartment. When I turn the key...

Check your fuel line pressure-use the schroder valve(looks like a tire valve) on the main fuel rail just before the injectors. If it doesn't spurt out when you press it briefly, you have no fuel pressure. Bad fuel pump-clogged fuel filter? Do you smell gas anywhere like its leaking out somewhere or not getting fire when you crank the starter?
If you DO have fuel pressure, then I would check timing or spark circuits.

2001 pontiac sunfire wont start, it died going down a hwy, it shows it has fuel, and I even added fuel, it turns over just fine any solutions?

more than likely your fuel pump went out. spray a small amount of fuel (like 1 or 2 ccs from a syringe, or similer device) into your intake, and try starting it. If it fires, but doesn't continue to run, then it's not getting fuel. The fuel pump is the most common problem. You can also try to "wake up" the fuel pump by hitting the fuel tank with your hand (underneath the back of the car) and trying it again. If it works, then remember, it is only a temporary WILL quit again, and probably for good, so don't drive it anywhere you can't handle being stuck. Other possible problems; fuel pump relay, bad injector, and ignition fault. The prime that you give it will determine which direction to go. If you prime it wiith a little fuel and it doesn't fire, look at your ignition system. If it does, then the ignition is working fine; you need to look at the fuel system. Hope that helps you, and hope you get your car back on the road soon.

Fuel problem

on the negitive battery cable there is also a small black wire this is you fuel ground make sure this had a good connection the the negitive side of the battery.
