Question about Cars & Trucks
Need a trained a/c person, at a repair shop
to diagnose the issue
You can not work on any a/c system without
training or system knowledge
You only let air in with those store bought kits
They should not be sold to the public
People have no understanding of how
You did not recharge, you tried to add to a
system, that if it needed any refrigerant, you
should know it leaked out & have a leak to fix
You never add to a system to fix the fact your
not cold. How would know if you overfilled it,let air
in or ruined something?

This is just an idea, but if the a/c is working good, it may be the relay that changes your heater from hot to cold....give it a shot..just an idea....Please leave a good ratin, it is very important to me...

COULD BE A FEW DIFFERENT THINGS. HAVE YOU TRIED TO SWAP THE A/C RELAY FOR ANOTHER? IT COULD BE A BAD ACCUMULATOR SWITCH OR A CLOGGED ORIFICE TUBE, OR A DEFECTIVE LOW PRESSURE CUT-OFF SWITCH. TOO MANY TO LIST. TRY THE RELAY AND LET ME KNOW. HOPE THIS HELPS. BEST OF LUCK. THANKS FOR USING FIX-YA AND HONEST RATING IN ADVANCE.

You need to take it to a local shop and have the freon level checked. It sounds like the compressor is cycling to much on the hotter days and is not running long enough to cool down the low side. this is mostly caused by low freon levels and with this type of system with an expansion valve is common. this is not a costly fix unless you have a bad leak or blockage.

check to see if you have power at the AC AND HEAT blower motor.if yes your blower motor is defective.if you have no power to blower motor look at fuse- blower relay-resistor or bad control switch.

AC will not work with temps are cold even when it is turned on. The air is colder cause the temp is colder. The AC cycles in hot weather because the AC charge is low and needs recharging. You will know this if you open the hood run the AC and you will hear the clicking sound of the AC compressor magnetic clutch. You can recharge it easily buy buying a compatible can of refrigerant. I suggest buying the kit with the gage so you don't overcharge the system which will cause freeze ups
