A/c low side service point

the low side charging port for the a/c is near the accumulator/receiver, dryer canister. in the larger a/c line. good-day ! the larger hose coming from a/c if you follow it back, you will run into the low pressure port. the a/c fitting, will only fit the low side so you cant get it wrong.

Cant find the low port line on ac on a 2002 ford expedition i looked on all ac lines there is a green cap above the brake booster but that cant be it not a steel line its plastic and o

Hi, if your charge hose fits on the fitting under the green cap, then that is the right one. Plastic can handle the pressure on the low side. The low side port is always on the line that goes from the firewall to the compressor. So you can trace that line across the firewall and on to the compressor to make sure.

Cant find Low pressure AC port

Did you check the acumulator? There is a port on it, that is the low side port. Keep in mind that if you have to recharge the system it is because other parts need service (leak in the syst) and whatever refrigerant you put in it will leak out again. The system may work temporarily or may work inefficiently. Also may sure that there is oil in syst.

Low side port on a chevy camaro. Do i need to get under the car to find it? cant seem to find it when looking over the evaporator

The service port for recharge is on the accumulator. It looks like an silver canister that the low pressure hose runs to from the compressor and the evaporator. Good luck and hope this helps.

Cant find low port for AC charging

The high side is a big red cap on it. follow the other line around should be a blue cap smaller dia. it should be a round the engine bay, so you can access it with your gauges.
look hard and you will find it.
