bushing in motor is probably shot,or some critter put it's nest in there ,either way the motor has to come out.

SOURCE: Heater / air conditioner fan control doesn't engage fan. Previously, it only worked in high speed.

I would replace the blower motor resistor first then see if that corrects this. The resistor is located next to the blower motor under the dash.

SOURCE: ac fan doesn't blow hard enough 1985 300zx

If very little air comes from the vents, the fan on the blower motor may be damaged, or there may be a restriction in the vents, or a blend door may not be open completely.

2003 GMC Envoy Heater Fan doesn't always blow

Your problem most likely is the resistor block. In order to limit the fan speed a reistor is placed in the circuit which will limit current flow to the motor thus giving you the diferent speeds. High speed bypasse the resistor to get full motor speed. Since you only get high speed it is very likely that the resistor block is faulty

HIGH PRESSURE CUTOFF SWITCH LOCATED ON AC COMPRESSOR DISCHARGE LINE LEADING TO THE CONDENSOR.THE HIGH PRESSURE CUTOFF SWITCH WILL CUT OFF THE AC COMPRESSOR IF SYSTEM PRESSURE RISES TO HIGH CAUSED BY RESTRICTION IN THE REFRIGERANT CIRCUIT OR OVERHEATED CONDENSOR.MAKE SURE COOLING FAN IS RUNNING WHEN THE AC SWITCH IS ON.THE COOLING FAN KEEP CONDENSOR COOL, IF COOLING FAN DONT RUN.YOUR AC WILL STOP BLOWING COLD AIR.HAVE THE REFRIGERANT SYSTEM CHECK OUT.MAKE SURE YOUR LOW SIDE PRESSURE IS 10 - 37 PSI. THE HIGH SIDE PRESSURE SHOULD BE 112 - 210 PSI. CHECK THE AC COMPRESSOR CLUTCH FUSE AND RELAY.

Does your interior fan come on when you turn on the heat? If it doesn't, then look in the fuse panel for the comfort control fuse. If it is okay, then it will either be the fan motor or the comfort control switch.

AC BLOWING WEAK

If your A/C is blowing weak:

1st: make sure you have the fan up all the way, and you're A/C is on the MAX selection. If it's on Normal A/C it will blow lightly even with the fan up as far as it will go - however - if your heater blows strongly, but he A/C on MAX does not - you may need to replace the blower motor (usually installed on the passenger side, on the rear firewall, or under the dash on the passenger side (near heater core).

Also consider the fact that the engine has to work a little harder to operate the A/C pump, as it is having to cool the air faster (on normal); it is recommended that while driving, to run A/C on MAX as the A/C pump doesn't work as hard to cool the air - and does not use as much gas.

Please let me know if you need further assistance.
