You probably found the port the assembly line used.
The fitting should be on the compressor or on one of the metal lines going to the condenser.

Freon is a Dupont trade name from decades ago,
for some of their refrigerant products
It's just--- Refrigerant --- R134a in vehicles from 1993
& later.
All vehicles have 2 a/c line ports
A Hi & a Low Port ---nothing special
The Hi is always the smaller one
You add or charge into the Low Side Larger port
The cans you buy in the store with the hose only fit
on the Low Side
I suggest you leave all a/c work to the pros
There is no way to get the air out of the hose
on the DYI Kits like you have & air will ruin the system
Your not charging anyway
That is done after a deep vacuum is pulled & all
moisture is drawn out
Ask yourself ---why would you have to add to an A/C
System. Because you have a leak to be repaired first
How would you know how much the system holds,or if you overcharge it. You can't find the larger tubing & hoses on the low side because, you don't have system knowledge.
You can ruin the system, hurt yourself with refrigerant, surely
pollute the air,so let the trained with proper equipment do
that work

Where is the low pressure port on 2003 peugeot 206

the fittings sizes were deliberately changed during manufacturer to stop the deliberate use of the wrong refrigerant in the system
ac systems do not need recharging unless there is a leak and that means that the leak has to be fixed first other wise the recharge is a waste of money
get an accredited ac specialist shop to do the job and save money.

How do i recharge the ac on a 2002 Lincoln Continental?

to charge car uses 134a freon, you get a can at parts store, can has a hose and gauge already on it. hose end only fits your low side suction port ,it slides on and snaps /holds in place,do as can instructions say, DONT OVER FILL 134A SYSTEM IS WORSE THEN UNDERCHARGE AND YOULL PAY ALOT MORE FOR OVERCHARGE TO GET REPAIRED THEN A JUST RECHARGE SERVICE.MOST OIL CHANGE SERVICE OFFER A/C RECHARGING,Me id go to someone that has ASE tech certified in AC

Trying to recharge the a/c on my '92 deville...the new can doesn't seem to want to fit on the a/c under the hood...it is R-134a..Any suggestions or did we just get a defunct can???

PLEASE...PLEASE...PLEASE !!! Ensure you are connecting the can of freon to the correct, low side / suction, port...otherwise that can may explode.

You may want to also look at the decal under the hood somewhere that tells you the kind of freon that is serviced...and make sure it is R-134A...and not R-12.

Hope this helps...

Adding 134a refrigerant to the lower side service port of a 2006 saturn vue. Locating the lower side service port on the 2006 saturn vue.

This job requires special tools and special training. If you lack either, you risk SERIOUS personal injury. Injury comes VERY EASILY!

You need to address oil levels, proper and legal refrigerant recovery, system evacuation, and recharge.

You were planning to also replace the receiver/dryer, correct? It also needs the oil in it measured and incorporated into the amount of oil (in %) that would need to be added. FAILURE to address these and other issues will guarantee premature system failure and likely compressor damage.

Take this job to a qualified shop.

Sorry

The air conditioning doesnt work it just blows hot air even with the ac on. i dont know whats wrong with it if everything needs to be replaced or just something simple. i know nothing about cars

What I would try first is recharge the a/s system, your car came with R12 freon, that type of freon is impossible to get these days, so you will need a retro fit kit to convert it to 134A freon, the kit will have two 134a fittings that screw on to your R12 port, so that the 134a recharge hose will go on, the low side will be the one your add freon through, it will be the thinker hose of the two, the thin one is the high side stay away from that one, you will also need one can of freon (134a), if it works, it might work for a while till the freon leaks out again, then you will have to take it it for repair, but this way you know it's just a leak and every thing else works.Good luck, let me know if I can be of more help.

Garging the ac unit

the low side on this year is on the larger lines of the two sizes,it will be the 1/4 in service port, the larger of the two ports the small service port is on the small line ,it is the high side ,,but that is for r12 system which it came out with,if it has been retofitted to 134a freon use it will have a different kind of service port the large line will have the smaller of the two ports it is the low side ,looks like a quick connect,,,,if it hasnt been changed over ,go to parts store and ask for service port retrofit for 134s low side ,if u do not have gauges dont get the high side service port,,,if so ask for 3/16 size high side retofit .

Need to recharge ac in 1995 chevrolet blazer. Not

1995 should have 134A. Look on the compressor and in the middle of it will be a sticker that says 134a or r12. If it is r12, you must retrofit it in order to charge it yourself.
