License plate light

The licence plate doesn't have a fuse, it comes on when you put your lights on, if you have your park lights on and the plate light isn't working then generally it's just a bulb, see what you can find, cheers good luck

License plate light out of order

Get your hands on a manual......(OEM or Hanes, etc) either online or from someone who owns the same car. It's the only way to find the correct fuse to see if that's the problem. You could start by checking the color code of the wires to the light........then look for the same color back at the panel.....but that's a pain.Good luck, buddy!

Back up lights and license plate light doesn't work.

Reverse lights are activated by a small switch on the transmission. Usually located on the passenger side of the vehicle with a small rubber cap over the switch, Your plate light bulbs are probably in need of replacement, and have nothing to do with the reverse lights.

Having problems getting access to my license plate bulbs to replace them

  • well for this you will have to remove the whole license plate holder, first you will need to remove the licence plate and locate & remove the four screws that are holding the part after that you will have to locate about five other screws located inside the trunk then you can remove the part bottom first and you will have acces to the license plate lights and reverse lights.
