Why won't it crank?

Sure that your battery is good? I know that if you have a weak battery and you engage a high current draw device like a starter, any lights on will go out.

And you sure that you had a good connection when you used the jumpers?

I have a 96 Infiniti g20 5 speed manual transmission, when I put my foot on the clutch I have to just about put the clutch to the floor before it engages, where and how do I adjust the clutch cable.

The clutch adjustment is performed by tightening or loosening the cable lock nut at the transmission side where the cable attaches to the shift fork arm.

Normal thing that happens as long as onone (worked) on it, is the vacume hose going to the engage sevevo under the battery box has fell of on either end or is brocken on the way there. Then the once or now leaky battery acid ate up this same servo. then the cable going to the front axel breaks sticks falls off or even someone needing one climbed under your truck while parked somewhere to get one to replace their brokeen one now you don't have one then theaxel engage arm or gearset is damaged

Four wheel won't engage

Theres a vacume dash pot under the battery box. It pulls a cable that engages the front diff. Put the vacume line and you'll have lights and four wheel drive. (it happened to my blazzer)

1990 ford bronco2 starter

If the flywheel teeth are ok, it must not be engaging w/ the flywheel as u say. If u pull the starter out u can check w/ jumper cables, ground to starter body (flange for good clamping) and touch positive where pos. battery cable attaches, gear should travel to end of shaft and spin to engage flywheel, if it's not advancing to end of shaft, u need to return it for another rebuilt unit. Note, only touch positive cable briefly, the gear should engage w/great force, so be careful.
