Question about Cars & Trucks
I have a 3/95 KJ2 Laser 1.6l. Fuel pump not getting 12v to it. Does it have a fuel pump relay? If so, where can I locate it? Thanks in advance. Mick

SOURCE: fuel pump relay
It sounds like there is a short somewhere. One of the wires going to your relay is touching bare metal somewhere, causing it to overheat, but not enough to make it stop working.

If you have put direct power to the fuel pump and it still wont work, then get an electrical test unit, test light, and ohmmeter, and check to see if there is a break in any of the wires, and that you have got a good ground connection from the ground feed.
After confirming you have good connections, then it will be obvious that the fuel pump needs replacing.
