SOURCE: 03 hyundai santa fe blows ecm fuses after car is warm up and you

There is obviously a short circuit somewhere. Best solution, take vehicle to nearest Hyundai Service Center, pay diagnostic fee. They will give you an estimate of repairs (parts, labor, tax, time-frame, etc.). This way you'll find out EXACTLY what the problem is and what's required to fix it.

SOURCE: ecm fuse keeps blowing

just fixed this problem, change your fuel pump module, fuel sending unit shorts out on fuel level swing arm blue wire... unfortinately you must replace it as unit because of the design, fuel pump and tank guage fuel level sending unit are a one peice item, fuel tank has to come out to change unit, about a $ 700.00 repair too... fuel pump module runs about 350 to 700 $ depending on aftermarket or factory, try to find one with a lifetime warranty even if it is $ 50.00 more worth it..labor is about $ 250 to $ 400 depending on shop labor rate... definate problem though I ahve no doubt, common problem on GM... please rate my help, thanks...

SOURCE: Blowing ECM-B fuses

The ECM-B fuse is a 20 amp fuse, and you should NEVER put a larger fuse in to try to overcome any problem. The oil pressure switch is a secondary concern; there is an idiot light or oil pressure guage in the dash to alert you to oil pressure problems. Under heavy load, such as towing, your engine requires more fuel, and if your fuel pump is going/has gone bad, it cannot supply the demand.
The problem is almost certainly a fuel pump wire harness short, caused by a dying fuel pump. I have both had this problem myself, and repaired it on three other vehicles. On my vehicle, the wire harness had welded itself together when the fuel pump locked up, and the wire harness caught on fire.
The fuel pump is in the gas tank (of course my tank was full), and the tank has to be dropped to access it. The wire harness is modular, with plugs at both ends, and can be bought from the Chevrolet or GMC dealer.
If you put an incorrectly-rated fuse anywhere in your vehicle's electrical system, the WORST place to do it is where you have--the fuel pump circuit. Fuses blow for a reason, and the manufacturer's engineers properly size the fuses for the application at hand. Please don't do that again.
This can be a very dangerous problem and repair, and no, it is not cheap.
Do not attempt to operate this vehicle until you have had the problem properly corrected. Good luck.

00 f350 6.8 v10 all coils on driver side not firing

There is a fuse for the coils but i thought all 10 are on the same fuse but i could be mistaken. Theres 2 wires to each coil, 1 goes to ground and each other goes to the PCM. So i would check each ground wire for good ground.

I have a 94 Buick centry and the ecm fuse keeps blowing out. New battery and starter. What would cause it to happen

A short in the ECM , does it blow the fuse right away ? or does the vehicle start then it blows the fuse ?A short in the wiring going to the ECM could do it also ! Disconnect the connector at the ECM Pull the fuse an check the wire with a ohm meter ! starter has nothing to do with, has a short to ground somewhere on that ECM power feed circuit .You need to find a wiring diagram for that circuit. Connector 2 black 24 pin connector , A-2 pink wire . first you need to find correct side of the fuse pin without power , with volt meter , one side will battery voltage ,you don't want that one ! put black lead to ground an the other to the wire an see if there is continuity. Hope this isn't to long winded an I hope it helps !

I have a f250 cranks but wont start blew the fuse for ecm did it fry module for injectors changed silonoid for glow plugs and air heater

Depends. I assume the ecm fuse was replaced and did not blow again, right ?
The computer grounds the injectors to make them open, so depending on what blew the fuse that part of the computer could be cooked.
You should be able to hook a test light to one of the injector plugs to see if it is getting power and ground.

Chevy 1998 Express 1500 8 cyl Keeps blowing ecm-b fuses- sometimes 4 or five fuses within a couple of miles. replaced fuel pump (twice) and fuel pump relay (twice) ran a new wire from the ecm to the fuel...

i have a 1998 3500, with the 5.7v-8, and fought electrical problems for eight months now. i believe it is a problem within the chevy van, because a lot of people complain about blown fuses. my fuse was the ecm-b fuse as well, and after cleaning all the grounds and bat. connections, starter connections, and disabling the a/c circuit, on the advice of another poor van owner i replaced the ignition coil. six months so far, and no problems. this might help you as well. mine did not have any visable problems, but he was persistant, so i did it. good luck

Ford f250 2002 idm relay clicking will not start

PCM maybe loosing voltage may have caused Engine control Fuse #22
to blow open. IDM injector Driver module could have loose or open harness connetors. IDM relays gets its ground thru the PCM ground circuit. When this happens it cycles the ground side of the relay trigger coil switch.

Blowing fuze on f350 diesel for glow plugs

Most likely you have a shorted glow plug. First unplug all 8 leads and energize the start cycle which activates the timer box. If you blow a fuse now its the timer box thats shorted.

Then connect 1 or 2 leads at a time until you blow the fuse. You can unplug 1 of the last 2 to isolate the bad glowplug. Using the wire leads will keep you from having to remove every glowplug from the heads.

Check your ground wires to the timer box because the timer only cycles for the initial start. Also as the weather gets colder the timer can work longer but not indefinitely. That can be another reason for the fuse to blow.
