Question about Cars & Trucks
What could be causing a full charged battery to drain after starting and driving my china atv
I would suggest that you have load test done on the battery to check for dead or failing cell that is causing internal discharge.

SOURCE: Dodge diesel 1990 The battery
ok im not too sure either because i too had a similar problem although my battery was not getting drained i thought it was. The leads at the ends of my battery cables were corroded i swapped these out and it started right up and problem went away if this is not the case look for a light that may be left on kinda like a dome light maybe you dont notice this light on during the daytime good luck

Though your car seems fine without using the headlights, you have a charging problem, and need to get a couple things checked out. First make sure your battery connections are clean and tight. Your alternator belt should also be checked to make sure it is serviceable and properly tightened too. Your alternator should be checked under load, and lastly, your battery too. Most auto parts stores, such as auto zone, will check your parts for free,so you should only be spending money on what is broken!

If you disconnect the negative battery cable and connect a 12V test light between the battery negative post and the negative battery cable terminal the light will burn if there's a draw. Make sure all electrical consumers are off and all doors closed when doing this draw test. If the light is on start pulling 1 fuse at a time until the light goes out, when it goes out that's the circuit that has the draw. Trace it from there.
