SOURCE: Some lights wont light up on my digital cluster

Remove the cluster. Buy or borrow a pencil type soldering iron and a magnifying glass. Check all the solder points and re-solder any which looks not smooth or damaged. Re-install cluster. If you buy an after market cluster you have to get a Chrysler dealer to re-program the computer to identify the cluster or the vehicle wont start. But if you repair your own there is no need for this re-programming step. I know I did it.

SOURCE: 1992 Honda Accord (LX) Instrument Cluster Replacement

Same as 2 dr, or a stick.
There are bezel screws that hold the plastic trim (pointing up towards the windshield), you nee to remove these 2 screws. The bottom section is clipped in. Tilt the steering wheel down as far as it will go.
Once you have the bezel off, there are 4 screws holding the cluster to the dash. Remove them and gently pull the cluster forward. Reach around (expect to get scraped knuckles) and unclip the speedo cable, and two large multipin connectors. Don't force anything.
Getting the cluster out after this point is a test of your patience. It only seems to come out one particular way.

Location of cooling fan sending unit 1999 cadillac deville?

If you are refering to the Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor,it is located on the right rear of the engine below the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valve.

HINT: If your Deville is equipped with the analog instrument cluster and the temperature gauge is working, or if you have the digital instrument cluster and the driver information center (DIC) has been diplaying messages telling you that the engine is hot, the problem with your engine cooling fans is NOT the sensor.

On my 1992 GMC JIMMY the lighting for the following digital gages stopped working at first a tap on the dash top would temperarily turn back on but now they wont comne back on.Is it a bulb or am I looking...

Early GM digital gauge clusters are unreliable. 99.9% of the time there is a problem with the cluster itself. There are a few companies that rebuild these clusters. Search "1992 Jimmy digital cluster" on eBay or google, most company will help diagnose if you need a new cluster over the phone. They also have warrantees.

No digital display working

this is caused by a circuit board failure inside the digital cluster, this cluster can be rebuilt, the only real option on these is a factory repair center, contact your GM dealer for a name and number.
