I have a jack that fits w the wrong color wires meaning i need the pinout..power wires layout..?

The easy fix is t buy a wiring harness adapter for your new radio. Walmart sells many, car stereo shop will have more. This keeps you from cutting up your wiring in case you sell the car but keep your radio.

The 8 pin connector to the cluster got accidentally dismantled and all the 7 wires in the sockets popped out. I do not how to put them back as the wires do not have numbers corresponding to the plug.

Hi.

The pinout depends on year and model of the Mercedes. Models between 1988-1993 used the following 8-pin diagnostic.

8 pins diagnostic.

There are also several 8 pin connectors used in Mercedes radio and CD. Here the pinouts.

Regarding the connector at the back of the dash, to find pinout I will need year and model of the car.

I want to change my F-150 radio, basic, with a radio/cassette/cd, will I need a different harness?

You will need a harness adapter for your model truck. This you will want to solder and heat shrink over the solder joints (Dont just twist tem together) then just plug it in to the factory harness.

You will probably need an adapter kit also.

The wiring harness adapter should come with the color codes for the wires corresponding to your trucks speaker and power wires pinouts make sure you correctly connect them to the color codes of the stereo for proper speaker placement and voltages

I hook a radio up in my 94 camery now everytime i turn on my light i blow the fuse for the inside dash help what can i do besides unhook radion and also my atenna doesnt go up since i hooked up radio

Hi there,

You already halfway there. The circuit that is powering your radio has become over loaded. Even with the radio off, it still draws power.

Ideally, you would run a wire to the battery (with an in line fuse) to power the radio.

The antenna may be triggered by a different signal than your radio provides.

If you provide the make and model of the radio, I may be able to look up the pinouts.

Comment back with any additional info.

Best regards,
Mike

New 208 dodge charger with factory wig wag lights sometimes work and sometimes don't

To activate factory wigwags in a 2007/2008 Police Dodge Charger, connect pin 1 of the 24way upfitter connector found at the console (near the radio) to battery voltage -- the 47k series resistor is only required for MY2006.

That connection causes the VSIM module (located under the AM/FM radio) to send a CAN message to the FrontControlModule, where the front control module drives the headlights in the wigwag mode.

Pin 2 of the upfitter connector does the rear wigwags.

Some of the pinout of the 2008 upfitter connector from the VSIM to the console is different than 2006/2007 -- a Chrysler harness booboo for 2008.

Note that the VSIM (also known as PTIM) module is only on factory police Chargers -- civilian cars do not have this module.

Radio Wiring Diagram

Go to www.crutchfield.com.

On the bottom of the page there is a link for product support. On the next page, type "2005 Grand Prix" in the search box and hit enter. The top link shows an image and pinout on models with Monsoon sound systems, the second link for ones without.

Hope that helps! Good luck!
