Ok, do the following procedure if it does not work try it again with a new key if problem still exists the ignition switch/passlock sensor needs to be replaced then the following procedure will need to be performed again.

1. Turn key into on position with engine off.
2. Bump key into start position for a second without trying to start it and leave key in on position.
3. Leave key in on position for at least 10 minutes and security light will turn off.
4. Turn key off and wait 5 seconds.
5. Repeat steps 1-4 2 more times for a total of 3 times/30 minutes
6. Vehicle should now start.

will not crank ???? When you turn the key to the start position what happens ,does the starter engage an spin (crank) the engine? This is a engine cranks no start condition . Now if nothing happens ,the motor doesn't spin ,no clicking at the starter solenoid ,this is a no crank no start condition . Is there a SECURITY light lit on the insturment cluster ? If the security light is lit you need to take it to a qualified repair shop an have it diagnosed , there is no reset .

Did you use the original key and lock cylinder? They are coded for the security system.

I have a 2008 trailblazer changed shift motor,actuator,switch and tccm light on switch blinks go's right to auto at a loss

sounds like a defective transfer case control module, or the new module needs to be reprogrammed at the dealer

Have full interior lights and headlights but when i turn the key i get nothing. battery is new the security light is not on but the volts light is on. HELP!!!

Have you checked the starter motor and solenoid? Is the solenoid clicking when you turn the key to crank?
No click? Replace starter solenoid
Click, but no cranking? Check starter motor connections./Replace starter motor.

2002 chev trailblazer security had engine in no crank mode fixed that by. Key on 11min off 30 sec 3rd time started ran fine parked it. Over the weekend now no crank but no security mode eather. Dash lights...

Maybe the starter is hitting a bad spot on its armature and needs to be replaced.

When i turn the ignition key in my 2002 trailblazer all the lights will light up, but the truck will not start. the security light come on. i was told it may be the anti theft that is disabling my truck.

This seem to be a comand problem with GM.
Here's how to fix it.Put key in switch leave switched on 15 min. then switch off then crank the vehicle,you should be good to go. Let me know if it works.

THERE IS A BLINKER RELAY UNDER THE DASH. IF YOU CAN GET ONE OF THE BLINKERS TO BLINK YOU CAN HEAR THE RELAY LISTEN CLOSLEY THEY PUT THESE THINGS IN SOME HARD TO GET PLACES

That means there is a problem with the VATS System. This sometimes happens when the battery is disconnected for an extended period. You might need to do a relearn for the keys. You can get it done with the right scanner in 5 minutes, but there is a way to do it without one.

Turn the key to the start position, release it to the on position, then leave it on for 11 minutes, then turn it off. Repeat this sequence three times, and on the fourth try it should start if that was the problem.
