The check engine light is still on because the fault identified by the computer was not caused by a failed crank position sensor.

I have 2005 jeep liberty while driving it it died now won't start what could be wrong with it

There are many things that can cause this problem. You need to assess whether there is fuel and spark getting to the engine. IF one or the other is missing, the vehicle will not start. You can try retreving any trouble codes from the computer to see if it has stored a code for this problem. If no codes... possible fuel pump/filter/ crank sensor/wiring/computer/fuse just to name a few

1991 civic crank angle sensor

The crank angle sensor use the flywheel teeth for timing at that vintage. I have had the teeth gotten chipped from years of use and cause misfire. The recommend procedure would be to change fly wheel. But that's not for the faint of heart.

My BMW 520i starts up when cold but when it's warmed up and I turn engine off it won't start it's a 1997 straight six tiptronic whats causing this?

If the engine cranks but fails to fire, the car may be flooding due to a failed temperature sensor. There are several, but the most likely problem would be the water temperature sensor.
If the engine fails to crank when hot, the starter motor is failing and will need to be replaced.

Why would a 2003 nissan occasionally not crank and after cranking stall out while driving?

if crank or cam sensor fails then it will cause hard time starting, shut off while driving, here are the fault codes--po340 is camshaft sensor. have car scanned at any auto parts place they will scan it for free. these two things will cause a problem code.

Crank sensor and timing belt related?

Its possible, was the crank sensor physically damaged or just an internal failure. That would determine if it was a coincidence or not.
