SOURCE: What does "engine" light on dash board mean?

This indicates a problem with the engine that needs attention. If you take it to your local garage, they will put it on their computer and that will tell you what is wrong.

A red light on the dash comes on and starts flashing quickly when I lock the vehicle using the remote key. Is it normal?

Well a flashing red light usually means the alarm system has been activated. Flashing quickly could mean it is faulty and the alarm is not set.

A red light on the dash board

The warning lights should be listed in your owners manual. It could be a warning for one of the gauges, or engine/transmission problems.
They are more common on Toyota Prius.

Flashing red light of a car with lock on dash board on a 2009 ford flex limited what does it mean

use OBD II scanner to see what is sending this code. could be low voltage or possible issue with coded key. if you have more than one coded key on the same ring, they can de-activate each other. O'Reilly's will read codes, but not really diagnose system. local automotive schools can be helpful as well.

Key fob would not open 1995 discovery ,used key in door then alarm went off ,after a few seconds alarm ceased then put key in to start engine and got nothing now cant lock doors with key but red light is...

The red light means the Immobiliser has not been turned off, the deactivator in the key must not be working correctly, visit your local land rover dealer who will be able to make sure the key is paired to the car correctly, otherwise you may need a new key.

How to turn change oil light

iI you mean 'how to turn change oil light off" go to fuse panel. Open drivers door there is a panel cover on the side of dash board, remove cover there is a red RESET button that resets oil pressure and tire pressure. Turn the ignition key to the on position but don't start the car. Now press and release the reset button the change oil light should start to flash, now press and hold the reset button until you hear chimming hold until chimming stops then release, the change oil light should go off. If you need to reset tire pressure press reset button twice, the first push will make the change oil light flash the second press will make the tire pressure light flash then hold untill chimming stops, light should go out . Hope this helps.
