How to reset my cobra alarm without a fob after push button in cab was activated. I have code.

Go to the cobra site, trouble shooting. Never have put an alarm in. But have tore out hundreds of them. Anytime I get a No start or problems like yours. I look under the dash for after market alarms and remote starts. I would tell you up front, That system has to go. 99.5% of the time, when I take them out and fix the wiring. The cars starts and has no problems. The best alarm systems last 5 to 7 years. Cheap ones, your lucky to get a year out of them. Like I said, when I see them, they have to go before I do anything else.

Hi. our cobra 0168 rear park sensors have stopped working. so i have taken a look. i have noticed that there is a black wire not connected to anything and a blue wire not connected to anything. But th

The auto manufacturers make their wiring harnesses in batches generally for all models. Then they hook up only the features that are installed in a particular model. This saves the labor in making different harnesses for each model.
In DC auto wiring, the black is generally the ground wire whereas it is it is the "hot" wire in AC wiring. Blue wires are generally control wires. So it seems that you do not have any voltage nor control for your sensor. Before you hook up anything, with a volt ohm meter check to see if you have 12 volts on your black wire. You more than likely do unless your fuse is blown. Replace the fuse. Then try hooking up the black wire to the appropriate terminal on your sensor and checking it out. If it works OK then hook up the blue wire to its appropriate terminal on the sensor. It should now work properly with control. If it doesn't work when you hook up the black wire and you have a good fuse,, then you probably have a defective sensor. Replace the sensor.

I baught a 03 cobra terminator engine for my 99 cobra do i have to change my cams in the 03 motor to run the 99 intake

camshafts affect valve timing only and have nothing to do with air intakes . Air intakes only affect the air flow into an engine past the valves . Problems you are likely to encounter are air flow sensors as they will be different from each engine.

I have the factory wiiring book for your car, maybe the shop manual to. $7 for wiring book and $25 for manual plus postage ($5) if interested.

The top is tied into the parking brake circuit. The park brake must be applied to operate the top. this is because some owners and valet parking drivers try to raise & lower the top while driving the car. The top then makes a nice parachute, except it bends the top frame and rips the top material.

Try applying hte parking brake. Report results.
If this helps, please rate highly. Thanks.

If the car is parked facing down a hill and you must shift into reverse, it will not stay in reverse and sometimes won't go into reverse at all. What kind of tranny fluid does ford recommend?

Does the shifter move or are you holding the car by the parking pawl in the trans. You should be using the parking brake on a hill. Is the trans low on fluid, because it is leaking or you just do no know? Mercon V on the fluid.
