differnt for every model. look at the tag on the top of the radiator support or on the firewall. its federal mandate the system type and capacity be listed is engine compartment

Capacity is aprrox 1.75 lbs with proper gauge (28 ozs). Leak points are many, low side port ,high side port, high and low cut off switches,evap inlet,compressor manifold,condensor inlet and outlet...to name a few.

It should be on a sticker under the hood
I will guess,maybe 24 oz ,less than 2 lbs
The most I have every seen since 1967
doing it, was 36 oz (2.25 lbs) back in the
1980's,since 1993 & the use of R134, the
systems have gotten smaller
