Question about 2005 Volkswagen Touareg
My Touareg is no longer making sounds while the blinker are on and is not making the warning sounds for stuff like low gas, check lights or brakes.

I have the same problem, because it's difficult to see the rear brakelight halo when you are not at the right angle. And, when my wife was driving in the Jetta--right in front of me--that's when I finally saw which brakelight was out (1/2 a halo). (2006 Jetta 2.5).

On your steering wheel there is a button bottom right it should look like two squares. That is the menu button. Scroll through the menu settings until Time appears. Push in on the thumb wheel above the menu button to select. After that roll the wheel up or down to adjust the time and press in when finished.

Use the VAGCOM software tool, or just disconnect & reconnect the battery, that will reset any existing faultcode in the ECU.

it cannot be reset. there is a sensor on one of the brake pads which has a connector on it and the connector plugs into wires on the car. if the pads that are on it don't have the electrical sensors in them, cut off the end of the connector on the vehicle and connect the two wires. this will turn off the light. don't worry, no damage will be done by permanently connecting those two wires.

hi this sounds like the DSC dynamic stability control, i have the same light but it has a triangle as well, but i think it does mean the same thing, there should be a switch somewhere either in the center console or round abouts see if it has been accidentally pressed, if not you will have to take it to the VW garage and get it checked out as this helps with the traction of the car if it starts slipping...hope this helps
