SOURCE: engine misfires on one cylinder.n14 cummins.

If you know which cylinder then test / replace the injector. Check the wires and connections for that injector.

Cummins N14 accessory drive

Replacing an accessory drive on a Cummins N14 Celect Plus engine can be a complex process, and it is recommended that the repair be performed by a certified Cummins technician. However, if you are experienced with engine repairs and have the necessary tools and equipment, you can follow these general steps to remove the accessory drive:
  1. Disconnect the batteries to ensure safety.
  2. Remove the belts from the accessory drive pulleys.
  3. Remove any components that are blocking access to the accessory drive. This may include the alternator, air compressor, or air conditioning compressor.
  4. Disconnect the wiring harnesses and sensors that are attached to the accessory drive.
  5. Remove the bolts that hold the accessory drive in place. These are typically located at the front of the engine, and may be accessed from above or below.
  6. Carefully remove the accessory drive from the engine.
Before installing the new accessory drive, it is important to inspect the mounting surface for damage and to clean it thoroughly. It is also recommended to replace the accessory drive mounting bolts and any seals that may have been damaged during the removal process.
Again, it is important to note that this is a general procedure, and specific steps may vary depending on the exact model and year of the engine. It is also recommended to refer to the manufacturer's service manual for detailed instructions and safety precautions.

Is cummins cpl 2529 525 hp n14 stc if not I need a cpl for a525 hp n14 stc I we'll build to specs

There are 3 CPL for that. You need to supply the whole engine number to cummins for the proper one. 2529 is the common n14 though.

N14 cummins in a peterbilt getting large amounts of fuel in the oil. Replaced the pump heads and injectors and still doing it ?im told that is all it can be

Common problem on this engine and the current solution is to constantly change the oil to prevent overflow and then inter your DPF system if you have one.

One thing to try is have your computer re-programmed, but no guarantee it will solve your problem.
