Question about Ford F-250
Im sure you also have a check engine light flashing.its a misfire in one or mor cylinders, the cause is very common the coil on top of spark plug goes bad. but you have to find out which coil.if its running rough at idle strat with #1 cyl and pull injector connector,if there is a change in idle speed then this is the or one of the bad cylinders.if idle drops then coil is good.then just reolace bad coils.

check fuel pressure at regulator, should be 40-50psi, could be mechanical fuel pump. go to ford and/or international truck service dealer, they have fuel pressure tester.
my 97 F250 acted same way, would white smoke on highway, was mechanical fuel pump not providing enough fuel to injectors.

I would check the oil pressure of the engine. The reason is the timing chain tensioners are run with oil pressrue. I think your timing chain tensioners are leaking down when engine is getting to operating tempature . The oil is thinning down as warms up , as it should to lubercate . I would check compression and do a cylinder leak down test on all the cylinders. Then if the compression is good and the cylinder leak down is good. I would change all the timing components, ( chain, timing gears, timing chain tensioners )
Good Luck , I hope this helps.

i think a trip to the local ford dealer is in order here, you won't get theis solved on the free forum, have been a Ford dealer tech for 25 years and have never heard of such a thing. all the lights u mention they come on because the engine has stalled, this goes for the loss of power steering as well..

i'm getting "internal control module keep alive memory?" for fault p0603. which i think has nothing to do with using coolant. i assume you're finding no leaks, so it's leaking somewhere you can't see. does it smell of antifreeze in the interior? is the carpet wet? the heater core might be leaking into the interior. there could be a slow leak on the top of the engine and it's boiling away before it has a chance to pool. fill your reservoir fully. let the engine get hot. inspect for steam in the engine compartment.
