2002 Dodge Dakota v-6 won't start the battery so good the starter is good it turns over and cranks but nothing happens I tried starter fluid in the carb.

Here are the usual suspects:
stuck fuel valve/float valve in the carburetor.
clogged fuel filter. or fuel line.
defective fuel pump.
electric fuel pump may be just a blown fuse, or wiring problem. good hunting.

1997 subaru Impreza sport won't stay running . stalls after minute replaced Fuel pump, filter spark plugs wires ,cleaned injectors checked fuel pressure what next

check your grounds. I find many easy fixes by cleaning all the grounds around the engine bay. I would also check the ground at the fuel pump connector that wiring is prone to corrosion and breakage

My sidekick will just die or barely run it died

last year, OBD1 car (dumbb ECU)
no scan tools for it
if you run on the road with that hack , and wreck
expect a nice fire. fuel fire.
if you used a voltmeter and say 12vdc there, all hotwiring stuff
need not be done. (
it stalled (misfire)
and then would not what? start but cranks ok?
4wd?
3sp ,4sp auto or 5speed stick
16v engine or 8v, both are G16s but EFI radially different.
16v is MPI with 4 injectors, 8v is 1 injector TBI
try a new
cap,.rotor spark wires and spark plugs yet?
cant burn fuel with bad spark
i guess the cam bent did not slip as it run ok later, but is 60,000 mile belt. and will slip ignored.

next time it stalls
check headlamps they work, and all electric
then see if CEL glows key on, i must or ECU lost power
it has 3 fuse that can rust, IG coil, FI, and DOME.
the CEL must glow, is first checks.

In my 1986 f250 changed the fuel filter between carb and fuel pump ran fine but noticed i was leaking fuel due to the fact i kinked the line. well I cut out the area that kinked with a hand saw and...

I hope you cleaned the fuel line so there weren't any cuttings in the line? I would have probably used a small round file to clean burrs inside metal line. I don't know liter size of engine? I looked at 5.0L--carbed engine--fuel pressure 5--7 psi.
If your fuel injected, the pressure is a lot higher.

I have a 98 Chevy 2500 4x4 (Z71) with the 7.4L 454. I have replaced the fuel pump 3 times in the past year and a half or so. Any idea why they keep failing?

I would look at a number of possibilities. The first would be to look for kinks or obstructions in the lines, especially at bends. Change the fuel filter. Check the electrical connections and wire harness for corrosion or bare wires. Repair whatever you find and use some die-electric grease on the connections or spray them with Rust Check. Use the green can.Make sure the ground at the tank is making good contact, shiny metal to shiny metal. Clean the inside of the tank and make sure nothing is left inside or falls in during re-installation. Change the rubber connecting line on the joints with steel lines. Sometimes the inside of the rubber line will collapse. Hope this helps.
